Back on the job!

"Oh, hi dad.  You're back?  Cool.  Wanna see me bounce, stand up, feed myself, clap my hands, say da da, roll around, sit up, kinda crawl or any thing else i learned in 3 weeks?"

After 2 weeks of rehearsing then 5 weeks on the road with a nice stop in NY it's wonderful to be back at home with my wife and daughter.  Lyla is amazing.  Can't believe how much she grew in that time!  A special thanks to Grandma Nancy for taking such great care of my little girl :)

It's pretty tough being away from my little girl.  A week on the road seemed a lot longer than that, but it was good to be back in NY for a little while.  Lyla had already learned how to feed herself cereal, hold her bottle, stand up, bounce like crazy and is way more independent than before.  Crazy man, and to think I have another 3 weeks on the road.  I miss her :)
